My daughter is turning 3 next month. I think it’s time for me to start looking for a pediatric dentist that will regularly check her oral condition.     Thanks for all the great information! I have not even thought about verifying the license to practice but that is such an important component to consider, just to verify that he/she is certified and trained. My grandkids just recently moved in with my wife and I and we are in need of a great children’s dentist. I will most definitely consider all of these great points when we make our decision. Especially making sure that the dentist works well with kids so they won’t be apposed to attending the dentist when needed. They both are at the stage in life where they will only do something if it is “fun” or “enjoyable” so if the dentist can entertain and do the job right, that would be ideal!

    I totally agree that in choosing a kid’s dentist, one should select a dentist who is good in dealing with children, as this will motivate them to go to the dentist and at the same time keep their teeth clean and healthy.
