For smokers, it is important to remember that this is not a habit that you might want to indulge when you are dining out in any of the restaurants in the vicinity. Smoking in bars as well as in restaurants is prohibited for the entire state of Washington.

If you are dining out on a budget, it is always best to ask ahead for the price of the daily specials as they are recited to you by the waiters. This is because there are a lot of restaurants that may charge numbers that are way out of line for their specials when compared to the rest of the things that are on their regular menu. Dining in this part of Washington is always considered to be informal. Some might even consider it to be a tad bit too informal sometimes. Most restaurants do not require jackets. But if you want to go on the safest route, business casual is a good way to dress.
